I hear you, but until we can smash the two-party system, what can we do with our votes other than choose the lesser of two evils, especially when one of those evils just keeps getting, well, more evil?
GEtting sandwiched at work is definitely my experience. We came of age when the people older than us had settled into a workplace that was far less volatile than it is today. Then the Internet disrupted everything, and the assumption was "the younger, the better."
Agreed to a point, but it's difficult to find that middle ground between "staying informed" and "doomscrolling."
Ideally, we'd all read something weekly rather than being glued to cable "news" that does more to incite than it does to inform, and we'd get on with our lives so society doesn't fall apart while we're all fretting about things we can't control.
