If we had a reasonable, two-sided discussion about climate change, one side would be “well, we can still make some progress and work on adaptations,” and the other would be “we’re toast.”

Instead, we have one “side” that consists of people who can’t make any arguments that stand up to scrutiny. And then they complain that they’re not being heard, when they are in fact given a much larger seat at the table than they deserve.
